1. When was your first contact with poker? What attracted you to the game?

Hello. My first contact with poker was when I was 12, there was the Romanian poker with 5 cards, and I used to play in front of my block on pocket money… I used to be quite good. I have started playing Texas Hold’em about three years ago, and after depositing 100$ on the 3 D website I have started growing. The equal chances of each player on the table attracted me most, as well as the possibility to have a high advantage over the rest of the players if you think properly

2. When you started playing poker you thought you could make a living out of it?

Before poker I used to make sport bets and for 2-3 years I did it quite well, winning on the internet blackjack. When I started playing poker, it took me a month to give up the rest and to start focusing only on this game. Poker gave me more pleasure and more money. Yes, I thought about living on the poker earnings, at least for a few years.

3. EPT Deauville 2010, where you got the second position it’s considered one of the highest successes of the Romanian poker until now. What do you think you need to do for overrunning that performance and winning a major international poker tournament?

I think I have to play as many satellites as possible in live tournaments, to qualify then to wish for the best days of my life… which will certainly help me win.

4. ? What do you like to play? Online, tournaments, cash games?

Mainly I like cash 6, full ring, hu and tournaments when there is something major. I really enjoy cash hu, IO find it the most exciting formula of Texas Hold’em.

5. Which are your main trumps at the gaming table? What about weaknesses?

Discipline is my main trump, and my weakness (I am working to defeat it) is to reach a high gambling percentage, the capacity to make a huge bluff in almost each moment of the game and to impose this image while playing

6. Do you have a favorite international player?

Among the young players I didn’t find someone in particular, but the old school… Phil Ivey and Patrick Antonious are my favorites. I appreciate their attitude and behavior regarding poker.

7. Which are your plans for the future regarding poker?

More good results on live gaming.

8. Poker is a lifestyle for you or you see yourself doing something else?

I am now focused on poker and I am trying to go as high as possible. When I will stop enjoying it as much, I will certainly start my own business.

9. More young people are enjoying poker. Which is your advice for those willing to have a career in poker?

Poker needs more and more concentration and passion, my advice is to play a lot and think about the gaming attitude if they like the game and want to make a living out of it.
