Bwin.party have announced they are blocking players from 18 countries within the EU and also South America. Those countries involved are Greece, Poland, Romania, Cyprus, Finland, Serbia, Armenia, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Argentina, Brazil and finally Columbia. Online gambling analysts reported this week that Finland may face even stricter restrictions in the near future regarding online gambling. The new coalition government hinted that it might further restrict, or even prevent foreign companies from acquiring a license in the country. The spokesperson hinting at the possible law proposal did not reveal any details on how this change might look exactly, but explained that the intention is to prevent foreign companies to provide services in the country, thus strengthening the companies seated in Finland.
